Spent most of the late evening/ first part of the night waiting in the car, initially for Ross who was having an epic in heavy rain and clag on Ben Vorlich, and then for Ifor running Ben Chonzie. Ross in at 1.45am, Ifor in at 4.20am, drive around Loch Tay to start of my leg at 4.43am!
Long walk (850m) up Meall Greigh, very calm and still at lakeside but very windy on top and had to don coat etc.; top in 1hr 5mins. Steady jog to Meall Garbh in windy but clear conditions, sun trying to come out but not successfully. Top in 35mins.
Followed Eddie's recommended route contouring to the north of An Stuc, very quick route – top of Ben Lawers in 39mins (07.02am) – very, very windy on top and no visibility – therefore took bearing off top and went for quick turnaround between Munros; legs too tired going up Beinn Ghlas but recorded 10mins 16secs therefore best time so far.
Continued on to Meall Corranaich (20mins) and Meall a' Coire Leith (24mins). Very windy on last two summits but sun coming out. Long descent back to road near Lochan and meet Mark (26mins).
Total time 3hrs 39mins (11 mins down) and good run in those conditions.
Peaks done 107 Hours elapsed 121 Peaks to do 170
