Wasn't properly ready, had to rush to get dressed then forgot biscuits. Drove van and Steve up to Ben More farm, parked opposite traffic light generator and rushed up hill with 4 bananas and a pear. Actually got to changeover with 30-40 mins to spare – waited in cag and overtrousers.
Ross turned up, took overtrousers off on first hill. Soon in fog 5 – 20 metres visibility. Crossed all streams got on flat bit, started to climb, wound my way through crags to top – cairn. Ran on to second ridge going wrong way – had been up wrong hill! Took 19 minutes to get to proper top.
2 okay and fast. 3 contoured too high above pass but luckily came out of cloud, had to back down once from crags. 4 failed to find good route through knolls then got caught on crags. Very windy up ridge almost put on overtrousers but did not.
5 down good, climb okay, got to top ran along ridge found another top! Down was good after top rocky section. Ran very hard into changeover – everyone looking!

This changeover was the only time ever that the whole team were in one place as we all cheered Ifor in and Steve out.
