A mixture of on and off road riding on gravel bikes. Lovely route to cut across country. Great views of Ben Hope.

VWMR25 Glen Cassley to Ben Hope
The second part of my day was to meet Fran and Sue at the other side of their munro leg. Then ride up and over to Ben Hope with Katy Boocock. This was brilliant. Another blazing hot day.
Our route was on quiet roads and through Glens. It was quite challenging on 38mm tyres. The dusty tracks were quite bumpy causing my glasses to bounce about and slide down my nose, but it didn't detract from the fantastic route .
It was really great to share a leg with someone else and I felt this was the main ethos of the relay. At Ben Hope Katy went off up the munro and I rested, drank water and chatted to Peter Ferguson. Waiting for the squirrel (and Katy) to return.
She had a brilliant run and before I knew it I was on my third cycle of the day.
